No Decision by Porter

Well, to say that the Plan Commission meeting tonight was interesting would be an understatement.  This was my first one and it was...well...interesting.

Ultimately, Porter has not made a decision just yet on their utility provider.  Damon Run or Chesterton - which is not what was reported in the newspapers...so much for truth in the media...but we already knew that if you watch MSNBC...

What was really interesting was the complete polar opposites of some of the board members.  I didn't write down every word that was said during the 2 1/2 hour meeting...and since this is a blog with about 2 or 3 readers...I'll just paraphrase from my perspective.

Kevin Breitzke - pretty much said..."Nice Job in addressing our concerns."  He almost sounded as if he was promoting them to go to the DRCD.  He didn't come out and say that, but I took away that he would rather see it stay in the county and with the local area than to go to Chesterton.  Just a gut feeling.

Liz Marshall - Wow...all I can say is Wow....OK, that's not all I can say...

I'm not sure how she got here or where she's been since they started discussing this in 2007, but I would think from her comments that this is the first time that she's been to a meeting.  I also doubt that she read any of the info on the construction that was given to them ahead of the meeting.

Here are some of the comments made.  Keep in mind that these are not exact quotes, but I'll use quotation marks in order to keep her paraphrases from my comments:

I'll start with the statement of the night...not sure the entire quote...and I don't think she was either...

"Isn't there an endangerd bat species there that we will make extinct?"  Uh...no comment....but Wow...Porter Starke is right up the road...might want to go get checked out....

"Timberland Residents weren't taxed by Damon Run Conservancy" - Really?  Then I better get hold of the state because somebody jacked up my tax bill.  This is truly mis-information on her part.  Yes Liz, we were taxed by DRCD.

"Timberland Residents might have to buy flood insurance because of the drainage flow from the hospital site".  Really?  Huh?  OK..it was later stated in the meeting by a gentlemen that is on the drainage board.  He specifically stated that Damon Run (the ditch, not the district) runs West from 49 and under Rt. 6.  He also said there are 4 branches of Damon Run and he listed them off.  One runs through the center of Timberland.  Now...let me see....Upstream - Timberland will not be affected because it's a different branch.  Downstream...did I mention that it runs West?  And really more Southwest?  OK...moving on.

"Damon Run Conservancy District only goes to Fox Chase".  Really?  Where the hell is my water coming from then?  Where is my..uh...sewage going?

"This area is a very delicate drainage area and needs to be protected."  OK, feel what you may.  But from what I've seen developments such as this actualy HELP the drainage problem.  For those of you that aren't aware - Timberland is built on a swamp.  It was always a swamp prior to development.  Granted that we had the 150 year storm come through a couple of years ago and saw a flood, but when was the last time two hurricanes blew through Northwest Indiana?

Bottom line on Ms. Marshall - she stated that she didn't want this location for the hospital and wanted it "centrally located."  Is this location in the middle of the county?  No.  Is it in the middle of the population of Porter County?  Yep.  Guess it depends on your opinion of "Centrally Located."  Not sure where she is from, but I'm sure this is more that she wants it in her home town to take the tax revenues.

Herb Read - Actually, Herb brought up some good points, but also some others....

"Issue is what will happen downstream" - again, see my comments on Liz...

"There's an 85' drop from Southeast ton Northwest of the property".  Well, that may be true - if you measure off of Route 6 that has been built up over the years.  There are a couple of houses there now and they don't seem to have excessive drainage issues.  One of the home owners was there and spoke stating that he has never seen (in 25 years on the property) this site get flooded out.  Well, this tells me too that Ms. Marshall's claim that it is a delicate drainage error is false.

Here's a few of his questions - and my answers..

"Is the hospital willing to do wetland mitigation even though it is not required?"  Uh...no.  It's not required by the IDEM or the Army Corps of Engineers.  He went on to state that he wanted to know WHY the Army Corps of Engineers and IDEM said it didn't need done.  Herb, really?  It's the friggin' Army Corps of Engineers!  They are the best in the free world!

"What plans does the hospital have for the north area of the site?" - well Herb, since they own it..they will probably develop it at some point.  And they will have to go through plan approval.  And they will have to do this all over again.  Right now, they just want to build their hospital and are getting pretty tired of delays.

Tim Cole  - Probably had one of the truest statements of the night.  "It's going to go gangbusters."

Tim's right.  This area from Calumet to Meridian and from the tollway south of 6 will be a mecca for building and construction (See my other post for my prediction...yep..I said that too after being in the construction product industry for a dozen years...I've seen it happen)  He also said that we needed to look at this as a whole and develop it from there.  Well said Mr. Cole.

Kris Parker - This was more of a love fest with the hospital.  She repeatedly thanked them for their efforts in bringing this facility to the county and for complying with the requirements and requests of the board.

Robert Detert - I like this guy.....and I loved his comments.

Pretty much, he said - "Nice job Porter Hospital.  My fellow board members - we meet on this day and time.  If you didn't show up - you suck.  Show up some time and you would have had the answers you needed.  Now let's vote."

Rita Stevenson - More of a love fest than Ms. Parker was.  Thrilled they were building.  With just a few questions.

"Where's the secondary entrance going?"  The developer for St. Andrews was in attendance and addressed that they have given the right of way for the second entrance to go through St. Andrews.

"Drainage?"  Always a question.

"Ambulance Noise & affect on neighbors?"  Good question.  I'm sure that they will be good neighbors and have sirens off and/or I don't think that if someone is at death's door the neighbors will mind.  Hell, the hospital is right downtown Valpo and I haven't seen anyone complaining in the papers about the ambulance noise there.  Or in Portage, Michigan City, LaPorte, Hobart, etc....

"What about an Annex of the land by Chesterton?"  Hmmm...this one is a concern of mine as well.  Best way to keep Chesterton's hands off of the property?  Join the DRCD rather than Chesterton Utilities.  It will really keep them at bay since they will not have as much of a vested interest.  I also don't think the hospital will go for that given the high tax rate that they currently pay in Chesterton - over 21 cents per $100.  She almost sounded as well that "Chesterton sucks..keep it in the county.."  She went on to state that Porter County had put all the work into this - and didn't like the thought that Chesterton may sweep in and take the additional revenues...

One of the other highlights tonight was when Commissioner Harper put a full Smack Down on Herb Read.  Nicely telling him to Shut the F--- up and they weren't going to cross-examine the CEO tonight.  Kinda had to be there for that one...trust me - I don't defend Democrats too often.  Nice job Mr. Harper....and smacking down a fellow Democrat as well!  Ahh....

So, we don't have an answer yet and the paper probably reported a bit too soon that they would be selecting a utility provider.  I guess I'm not surprised - as they needed to get over this hurdle first.  Now it starts to roll and the decision will need to be made very soon...especially before the underground plumbing work starts.

Very well written Dickie.

I have now been to a few of these meetings and it seems that no matter what is on the agenda it is the same 2 people (Herb and Liz) who seem to want to stand in the way of progress. Maybe if they would take the time to understand things prior to the meetings they would actually bring something of substance to the table.

I apologize in advance to PETA for my next comment. If there is a species of bat that only exists on 100 acres of land at the NW corner of Highway 6 and SR 49 in Indiana then maybe it is time for it to go!!

The Chesterton Tribune really needs to be careful what they print. Twice in the past week they posted that the hospital would be choosing it's sewage provider at last night's meeting. Still no decision.

A few of the big guns were there from the Chesterton town council including town council president Jeff Trout and Sharon Darnell because I am sure they were expecting a decision as well. The developers of Timberland (Jack Barko) and St. Andrews (Pat Kleghe) were there but there was only one board member present from the Damon Run Conservancy District (Chad Littlewood). Don't the other 2 board members have a vested interest in the hospital's decision as well?

Hopefully we will get good news sooner than later. I am still keeping my fingers crossed!

I had a different take on the meeting myself.
Some what different then yours or SODAPS.

I guess we also get our news from different sources. I watch Kieth on MSNBC.

Let me guess DickieH and SODAP get theirs from that all informative and fact based nonbiased, hard hitting tough questioning .....................................FOX NEWS.

WOW! Are you really going here? What was your take? Why don't you post your name? Fear? Right abover where you continue to click "anonymous" you can put your name and URL in there. Do me a favor and put your email address in there and we can set a time to meet and debate.

What was your take on the meeting? You bash, but offer no substance.

I can tell you watch MSNBC and Olbermann. In fact, I watch Fox, MSNBC, CNN, and others to get a complete view.

Do me a favor...don't post here anymore. This is the crap I was discussing in other blog responses (or should I spell it 'responces' so you can keep up) that is not welcome on this site.

Well it looks like the DRCD has won the sewer provider battle. Thats very good. I would like to know the full extent of the contract deal.

Things like:

1.Hook up fee amount and when it will be paid.
2.What the equivalent in homes the hospital will pay.
3.When thay will begin to pay and at what amount. (will it be in increments)
4. Now that we have the hospital are we going to push forward with platted lots being assesed the fee?
5. Who will pickup the additional cost to extend the current lines to the hospital site? When will this amount kick in and how much more will the additional 2 miles raise our fee?

This is a good start to reducing each home owners unjust fee.
Just think as the hospital spokes person said, due to the lawsuit delays it came down to a time factor!

So time was the key player and the people that filed the lawsuits should get the credit and our thanks.

Dear DickieH

Fear no. I do my thing my way and thats that. Besides you know who I am anyway.

As far as debate I quit debating right wing neocons along time ago. Its useless. You know get the goverment out of our business but call the police, fireman, get your SS check, start another war, blah blah....

As far as spelling, give me a break.

See below:

"WOW! Are you really going here? What was your take? Why don't you post your name? Fear? Right
abover

Is abover a new word? Dickh...

OK, Tom. If I know who you are anyway why the fear and going anonymous? But anyway....you think you know who I am...but I will bet dollars to donuts that you are wrong.....

First to your real questions about the DRCD.

1. Don't know.
2. Don't know.
3. When they hook up. If you actually go to the DRCD website and read the financial plan provided you will see that they won't pay until they are actually on the system. Makes sense right?
4. Why the hell would you want to? With this addition to the district, your taxes will go down by MUCH more than by an equal distribution by lot. Hell, think of it this way - the hospital equals one lot. Now what? Hell, figure it at two lots...or 10 lots. However you want to. You would be screwed and the taxes will be higher. Really..do the math here. It's not that tough.
5. Don't know. Not sure what fee you mean. Taxes or monthly. They are mutually exclusive and completely separate.

However based on the rest of your comments, I wouldn't expect you to understand number 4. I'm guessing that you are a socialist neocon that believes that everyone should get everything for free. That's fine. However, you have come on this blog and bitched about how high your taxes are. OK, I guess I don't get it. You chose to move here. Whether or not you researched and/or asked enough questions about the taxes - that's not my fault.

July 02, 2010 9:44 PM
Anonymous dickieh said...

I knew about what the taxes were and chose to build here anyway. Read again...I chose to build here.

You chose to live here - whether or not you built or bought.

Ultimately, it's your fault for not asking enough questions. For not doing your research. For bitching about the problem but not offering a solution.

Typical Liberal. Gimmie this, gimmie that. Corporations are bad, government is good. Nobody told me. I didn't know. It's not my fault. I'm sure the taxes were so high because of Bush...Hell...I'm sure that they will name the next earthquake after GW Bush...it happened at Bush's Fault. Pretty much all you hear now. When is Pretty Boy Rock Star Obama going to take any credit or blame? Oh.....Perhaps there's no credit to give and only blame. He's almost halfway through his presidency and all we have is a healthcare bill that will cost us all even more. Yes...I predict right now that healthcare costs WILL RISE due to the influx of people to the healthcare facilities. Ever heard of supply and demand? Demand goes up? So does the price.

Remember that the "EVIL corporation" is the one that probably puts food on your table. They pay your paycheck. And you go in every day. If they are so evil, quit tomorrow. Corporations are evil, so why not stick to your standards and quit. Show them who you are.....and how tough you are. I dare you. I know you won't do it...you will just bitch.

On to your personal attacks...again......

I also have quit debating with left wing socialists. Because there is no point. And basically, because they have no point. Ultimately, I'll be called a racist, or not caring about my fellow man, or something like that. No substance to the debate.

Furthermore - check everything I've written. There may be a typo every now and then (i.e. abover) vs. not knowing how to spell and having several typos in your post. And possibly just because you don't know. I'm not sure yet.

Now do me the favor - and respect my request and stop posting here. You offer nothing to the conversation that anyone that can read an newspapaer can offer. No insight, no opinion, no answers, no proposals.

Start your own blog and go from there. They have spellcheck.

Tom,
While I thought about not even wasting my time arguing an intellectual debate with an un-armed individual, I feel it is necessary that I respond to your incoherent rant that is completely contradictory in and of itself.
I too have worked since a young age. I believe I started mowing lawns when I was 8 years old or so, shoveling driveways, etc. I worked my way through college sometimes working 60+ hours per week as a laborer, doubles, start at 2am, etc. Took a pay cut to get into a professional career while I finished my degree. Had 2 kids before I finished my degree. Bottom line…I finished my degree and now hold a Bachelor’s.
Unfortunately, I have collected unemployment compensation. Just in the past 2 years for the very first time. BUT….I NEVER hit the federal extensions. I was always in and of the 26 weeks as provided by the State of Indiana paid through employers. Truth be told…I never even used up the 26 weeks. I still had half of my first claim and half of my second claim. So in 18 months, I have used about 26 weeks. Trust me..it sucks. Be glad you have never had to use it. I offset much of the unemployment by taking seasonal jobs. It often wasn’t as much as unemployment paid and it would be easier just to take the unemployment money – but it wasn’t right.
I believe I have thanked you for your service – especially because (if I remember right) you also served in Vietnam. The treatment that was given to our troops was appalling during that period of time. As I send a son off to the United States Marines in December – I am a HUGE supporter of our Military. Not only because of my son – but because of what is sacrificed by each and every service member. They are truly the un-sung hero’s of our nation. I believe you are calling me a communist in your response, however I think you are spewing MSNBC garbage as I am probably one of the biggest capitalists you would ever want to meet. If I am wrong, I apologize as this would be who you would have been fighting in the Viet Kong and Soviets that were involved in the war. Trust me, I’m pretty well educated in History.

As you may have read (or maybe not) in my other blog posts and comments, I also stand for neither major party. Bob Barr got my vote for president. I also agree that politicians should run on their merits – and I believe that they do. It’s the Media that pollutes the messages. MSNBC – Liberal Democrat. Fox – Conservative. CNN – Depends on which way the political winds blow. Main Stream Media – Depends on which way the political winds blow. They also all have websites. i.e. why I voted for Bob Barr.
I disagree that they should collect their pensions paid by the taxpayer. These are mostly wealthy people before they run, earn almost 3 times the amount than the national average (Senators, Reps, and President). Give them a 401K and they can take it from there. No taxpayer pensions.
We really don’t have to worry about Medicare/Medicaid/SS/Etc. anymore. Obama looks to make a recess appointment to run the Medicare/Medicaid system who is a major supporter of healthcare rationing. I think I addressed that in a different blog entry. Social Security? Won’t be there when I am eligible. Will be long bankrupt by then.
I don’t follow your correlation. Many CEO’s are paid on performance and are granted stock awards. Sure, they make a pretty nice salary – but much of the compensation package is tied to stock grants. What is reported is their TOTAL COMPENSATION. This includes the stock grants.
I really don’t understand your analogy to the Pacers. I’m not aware of this issue – but let’s look at the new Colts stadium. This was also funded with taxpayer dollars in conjunction with the Colts. What you are failing to realize that there are 70,000 people in downtown Indianapolis for Colts games for 8 weeks every year. Do you know what this does to the Indianapolis economy? And to the State economy? Restaurants, Hotels, Parking, Bars, etc. What do these people pay? Sales Tax, Hotel Tax, Gratuity, etc. This is a HUGE boon to the economy. Oh, and maybe you didn’t hear, but Indianapolis has a SuperBowl coming up. Now you have to multiply that 70,000 by about 10. 700,000 people in Indianapolis for one weekend. Where will they stay? What will they do? What will they pay? Think about it.. Stadiums are a forward pay to get profit in the future. Food Stamps – while necessary – are an expense with very little return. And the only bitch I have ever heard about food stamps is that I was $3000 per year over to get them – and then those who decide it’s a way of life.

By privatizing police, Fire, etc. – you will be inviting companies that are for profit to compete against “state employees.” This completely contradicts your complaint about CEO salaries. If XYZ security gets the contract for the Indiana State Troopers – you will complain about the CEO’s salary and how it’s not right that he gets paid so much. Beyond that – what if they outsource the labor from Illinois, Ohio, Kentucky, and Michigan because they will work cheaper? Hmmmm……
I agree that the US needs to grow their balls back with the rest of the world. Unfortunately, you can’t do that with a President that bows to other world leaders and tells NASA to discontinue the shuttle program and start “Third and Foremost” (look it up…that’s what was said) pandering to the Muslim population.
OK, here’s a huge contradiction. You say to “Go and Kick their Ass” but out of the other side of your mouth you say to “cut the huge bullshit military where the real pigs eat.” Uhh…which one is it? Perhaps you would like me to send my son into Iran with a pea-shooter instead of an M-16. Who need grenades when you have a potato and a rake. Really? This from a veteran? I believe that you were not a Marine…every Marine I’ve talked to is a HUGE supporter of our military and always states “once a Marine, ALWAYS a Marine.” Apparently not true in other branches.
If we close all of the embassies, who would we need to teleconference with? Perhaps give our ambassadors a local cottage in the local neighborhood. Perhaps a hut in Kabul. That would be much safer. But hey, it’s less expensive – and I’ll actually front the money for Hillary to live there.
Agree with a flat tax – not with a National Sales Tax. Why? This would penalize those who are being supported by unemployment and welfare. These are necessary SHORT TERM fixes – but they will be subject to the national sales tax. Also, it would HINDER consumption. Who buys the most? Middle class. Flat out. No questions or arguments. BUT is it right for someone to pay a 10% national sales tax and a 7% state sales tax (total of 17%) to buy a bag of groceries? When they make 15K per year? Nope. National Sales Tax wouldn’t work.

July 07, 2010 11:48 PM
Anonymous DickieH said...

Flat Income tax WILL work. 18% across the board excluding those who make less than 15K per year. They pay nothing. BUT…this also applies from 15K per year all the way up. Why be penalized for being successful? You must realize that 50% of the country last year had NO INCOME TAX LIABILITY! Did they have withholdings? Yes. Did they get it all back AND MORE? YES! Trust me – I was a tax preparer this year. I saw times where EIC got some people almost 25% of their annual income in a tax return. Just eliminating the EIC would be a boost to the tax situation.
I’m sure you also realize that corporations are taxed much differently and pay WAY more into the tax system than individuals already. They are already taxed on profits (also known as corporate income….EBIT…Earnings Before Interest and Taxes). Or maybe you didn’t know that based on your statement that we should start having them pay income tax. Take a look at an earnings statement from a traded company. There’s a line item for Taxes.
Actually, you are also wrong on illegals. Many already do pay taxes. They have withholdings from their paychecks and never file a return since their SS# won’t match. Therefore, they don’t get a refund – or an EIC credit. There are plenty that are getting paid under the table as well, but a good majority go through payroll where federal, state, and local income taxes are withheld from their check and get banked by the taxing authorities.
Better yet – why don’t we secure the border? Something the current administration doesn’t seem to want to do. They would rather sue AZ for enhancing and enforcing the federal laws! Huh? If the feds wont’ enforce – I believe it is well in the rights of the states to take it into their own hands. We can’t buy Beer on Sunday in Indiana – there’s no federal law against it.
As far as electing Supreme Court Justices…can’t go against the founding document of The Constitution where this was all laid out. The Founding Fathers had it right. We have to make sure it is enforced. Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of happiness….not Life, Liberty, and the Right to be happy as the current administration and congress are promoting.
Repealing NAFTA would be a mistake. We are in a global economy and if companies choose to move out of the country then that is the decision that they make. The real problem is that the benefit programs that are given to the American workers is out of control. To be honest…it didn’t make sense for me to pick up a part time job. It didn’t make sense for me to take a job for less than $21,000 per year. Why? Unemployment compensation in Indiana is $390 per week - $20,280 per year. And this is one of the lower ones in the country! Then extend it by the feds for 99 weeks. 99 WEEKS! That’s almost 2 years! There is your problem. The American Worker that doesn’t want to work – because “they are too good for that type of work.” Yes…I’ve heard it.

But you hit on another key point…the Unions. Just recently, the Teamsters were on strike over 54 cents an hour. This coming from people who make (by the state construction wage for the Northwest Indiana Area) over $30 per hour and also get fringes. They are on strike over 54 cents – while the county unemployment is over 9%. Lake county over 10%. Gimmie a break. I can find people who would be happy to make $20/hour and a 401K. Here is your problem.
The hatred directed at this President is not Racism. It is bad policy. Bad foreign policy – instead of the world hating us…they now laugh at us. Bad domestic policy – skyrocketing deficits and debt, future debt built in (see healthcare bill), division of the parties instead of reaching across the aisle, no action in the gulf spill, etc. Basically, he’s all talk and no action. He talks a big game – but no results. Don’t give me the “Bush’s Fault” and he needs more time. We’re almost halfway through his term. When is it his fault? When is he accountable?
Fox News DID criticize Bush. MSNBC and the Mainstream had a friggin’ Field Day with Bush (and still are to this day). Remember the “ignorant”, “stupid”, “drunk”, “Nazi” about Bush? I do. How many times a day do they say on MSNBC that it’s not Obama’s fault...it’s the “previous administration” or “Inherited”?
Actually, I do have a vested interest in the current political system as it guides the direction of this country. I do have a vested interest. We all do.
Problem with China is exactly what I said before. “I ain’t takin’ no job making $10.00 to pack boxes all day!” It’s the American worker. How is it that a company can buy a product in China, have it packed in a shipping container, pay overseas freight to California, Pay an unload fee at the port, Ship it to Chicago, and still make a profit? over producing it in Chicago and putting it on the shelf? Here’s how….$15 per hour, 30% in taxes, 6% unemployment insurance, healthcare benefits, Medicare taxes, liability insurance, etc. How many more taxes can a company pay? Versus the overseas companies that are being SUBSIDIZED? But you are right…the corporations are evil for trying to turn a profit. It’s not greed – it’s common sense.

Tom/Anonymous
Wow…really? I’m full of myself? I see it the other way. I have myself out here for all to criticize and have responded appropriately. You on the other hand hide behind Anonymous. I have my beliefs and you have yours. I am able to provide information and facts where you offer either nothing, or opinion.
No, I don’t think Sarah Palin is the 2nd coming. Actually, while I find her interesting and a key speaker for the conservative movement, I don’t see her as a major political force as far as holding office.

Are you sure you sat next to me at one of the meetings? Perhaps. I’ve been to a ton of meetings and have sat next to a wide variety of people. Considering I’ve only missed 2 or 3 meetings since they moved to the Valpo Library, I’ve been to many of them. I think you may think you know who I am, but we’ll see. Here’s the challenge. At the next meeting, I will be there. Come up and introduce yourself stating, “You are DickieH. I’m Anonymous.” I’ll report back on this blog the night of the meeting if you introduced yourself or not. I will eat crow if you introduce yourself.
Sorry that you feel I’m an arrogant Ass. I’m not sure what in the meetings made you decide this as I know my actions during these meetings. Also not sure what Battle field you mean – but perhaps we will meet there one day. I also don’t believe that I’m a deferment guy. I’m usually the one that is first out with information on this Blog and/or have discussions with others around the neighborhood. Don’t know what you are talking about here at all.
Obviously, you don’t believe there is intelligent life on this board because you have been proven wrong over and over again with intellect instead of banter. I believe that others would find your comments appalling. Those that know me would find your statement of inference – i.e. calling me a racist – absolutely appalling and wrong.
I don’t believe that you know anything about me, nor what I stand for. In fact, I don’t believe you and I have ever had a conversation about who I am, where I am from, what my background is, etc. So for you to insinuate that you know what I stand for and even make the case that I am a racist is ludicrous. It also shows your true character and where you stand. Unfortunately, based on what you have posted on this blog repeatedly – you have made it clear.

Additionally, the personal attacks that you continued to use are not flattering to yourself and only are projecting a negative image on who you are and what you stand for. I don’t believe I have ever used a statement such as “Kiss My Ass” as you have. This truly shows what kind of person you are. If this is the best you can do – I feel very sorry for you and the future that you have. Keeping others down through insult is certainly not the best course of action in my mind. For you? It appears to be normal.

I won’t be losing any sleep that you won’t be visiting the site anymore. This is more for my enjoyment and a place to complain and bitch. Nothing more. It’s not like I’m selling ad space here or getting paid to write this. I do this on my free time and of my own free will. Not like you’ll be hurting me at all.
See you at the next meeting…looking forward to your introduction.

Wow DickieH, glad to see you finally got rid of Tom.... his banter was getting extremely annoying!

Do you know if Chad knows the details of the contract with Porter? I guess I will dig through my emails and see if I can track down his number to give him a call.

WooHoo,

I'd hope that Chad has the information and details of the Porter Hospital contract as he is a board member.

Best bet is to contact Chad directly as you have stated. I have his email info, but won't post it here on a public forum.

Sorry for the delay in getting back. Hopefully you have found the info.
